What you can expect at MAC Sports Camp

  • Small Camp Community

Our small size enables us to provide personal attention and support for campers to improve their skills.

  • Multiple Sports Available

Campers can focus on sports such as lacrosse, soccer, basketball, softball, and tennis. They will also have an opportunity to choose non-sports activities offered at Maine Arts Camp.

  • High Level Instruction

Whatever our campers’ choice of sport may be, they will have the opportunity to focus on getting better at their craft with the help of professional instructors.

  • Exclusive Facility Use

Campers will have exclusive access to the Harold Alfond Athletic Center, Alumni Field, Softball Field and more.

  • Indoor/Outdoor Facilities

Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available, allowing our campers to maximize their time at camp, no matter the weather.

  • Located at Thomas College

The college provides a perfect environment for our camp because it is compact, with all buildings no more than a few minutes’ walk from one another.

I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you what an incredible experience Lola had at MAC this summer. Her first words to us at pick up were “these were the best two weeks of my life!”

Our daughter loved her experience at MAC and we're already planning for next year! A much more secure girl came home from camp, loving who she is and celebrating her differences. Thank you for fostering that in her...we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Very nurturing camp! Warm and welcoming to everyone. No cliques. My daughter went by herself, not knowing anyone and feeling a little down before she left. She came home on top of the world! She made new friends and felt like she really fit in. It was a great experience for her at the right time.

Our campers will have exclusive access to the following facilities at Thomas College.

  • The Harold Alfond Athletic Center, an indoor multi-use facility that can host tennis, along with any team sports.
  • Alumni Field (a grass soccer field) that can be used for soccer, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, capture the flag and more.

About MAC Sports Camp

Our camp is a place where children and teens can develop their skills in a safe, nurturing environment, while focusing on the basic fundamentals of their favorite sport, without becoming overwhelmed by the stress of competition. We emphasize the importance of teamwork--working together to accomplish personal and team goals.

As a small community, directors, campers, and staff have the opportunity to get to know each other really well. We can also be extremely selective in our hiring process, and we have a significant number of seasoned teachers on staff.

At MAC Sports Camp we partner with parents to provide their children with the opportunity to learn, grow, make friends, and have fun. The partnership develops as we communicate with you throughout the year. Learning about campers in advance helps us understand how to tap into their unique strengths, while providing support in ways most needed.

It can be both exciting and overwhelming to search for the right summer camp for your child or teen. Each child is unique and will thrive better in certain environments than others. Our camp director, Rick Mades, has years of experience guiding families through this process. If you think we might be a good fit for your child, please give us a call. (561) 865-4330

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Rick Mades, Director
